Snowman

Stamp Used:  RS027 CU (lg)

For this card, I made a snowman scene using a window card technique.  I stamped the snowman with black stazon on an overhead transparency.  I flipped it over and painted the back with various shades of lumiere paint (Jacquard), layering colours to get highlights and lowlights, and cut it out.  To make the snow, I used polyester fibre fill and sprinkled it with glitter.  The snow is attached with spray adhesive.  The snowman is nestled into this and stuck down with a couple of pop dots of glue to give him depth.  Behind the snowman I stamped snowflakes and adhered evergreen trees (Stampin Up) stamped on olive paper and cut out.  To frame this scene, I cut a second cardfront of the same dimensions (5" x 5") from the same textured cardstock as the rest of the card and cut a window in it.  The window is framed with a coordinating blue.  The outer layer of the window card front is raised up with dimensional glue dots at each corner to give the scene depth.  Finishing accents included some dots of acrylic paint (Adirondack) and a rub on sentiment.
