I used a technique that I call "Lovely Layered Inkds." In a nutshell, this technique involves layering chalk inks and pigment inks and embellishing with emboss-resist and a foam-tip stylus. The focal heart is embossed and coloured with markers on watercolour paper. More details on the technique are on my blog.
